It is made by melting selected natural magnesite or high purity caustic burned magnesite particles in an electric  arc  furnace. It has high purity, large crystalline granule and strong slag resistance. It is an important raw material for making high grade magnesia brick, magnesia carbon brick and unshaped refractory.
